PhoenixPlace is a specialist independent school for girls with complex social, emotional and attachment difficulties. Rated as ‘good’, we provide education across key stages 3 and 4 and are looking for a dynamic, highly skilled forward thinking Deputy Headteacher to join our team who can contribute significantly to the positive growth of the school. We are a small and specialist provision, educating a maximum of 40 students.

As the Deputy Head, you will support the Headteacher in the day-to-day management of the school, lead in the area of curriculum development, teaching, learning and assessment and deputise in the absence of the Headteacher.

The successful candidate will currently be a Deputy Head Teacher or a senior leader working towards this role. You will act as an inspirational leader and excellent classroom practitioner to enable our students to be ‘the best they can be’. We are looking for an individual with a clear vision for the further development of our school and its members. This would be the ideal opportunity for a candidate looking to develop within a leadership role.

This school is located in the heart of Camberwell with excellent transport links and is close to an underground station in zone 2.
