PHOENIXPLACE

Welcome To Our Unique School

We are a small inclusive independent specialist school for girls within the heart of Camberwell offering educational and vocational opportunities to young girls from KS3 to KS4.

Many of our students often have had negative experiences regarding school which impact on their self-esteem and access to learning. PHOENIXPLACE is a provision where we support our young people’s re-engagement with education. Just as importantly, we support their social and emotional development, their psychological resilience and sense of self-efficacy.

We pride ourselves on our high level of pastoral care, which ensures that the emotional, social, physical and creative needs of each individual child are met and they make good progress. Our job is challenging but rewarding.  We see progress in our students over time and they are able to leave with qualifications to prepare them for adult life and as importantly, improvements in their character.

We have a fantastic team of experienced staff from teaching and learning, support, our therapeutic team and leaders who work seamlessly to provide a positive, safe learning environment where students are able to thrive.

We are very proud of our students and it is a joy seeing them develop and grow, making positive changes in their lives. Our aim is for all students to positively re-define themselves each day and realise their potential and value.

This is an exciting time to be at PHOENIXPLACE. The hard work of our staff was recognised in our latest Ofsted Inspection when we were judged to be ‘good’ in every category.

If you would like more information about our school please contact us.

We look forward to meeting you.
